Welcome to Japan?
[sigh]
OK, last time I went to Japan I was told to wait in a separate line from my wife and daughter.
This time I get to wait in a separate line again...
...for two hours...
...and get photographed and fingerprinted.
Indeed, even if I had permanent residency I would still be forced to submit to this process, as will every foreigner who enters Japan from here on. (OK, people under 16, and diplomats, and people without hands are exceptions, but still...)
Way to go, Japanese Government! You've just topped the USA in terms of demeaning immigration processes and pretty much killed any chance of keeping up with Singapore or South Korea as a center of Asian business.

Rickshaw?
Rickshaw-type vehicle at Pho Vanh on 82nd. The interesting thing is the pedaler rides behind the passenger, unlike in a pedicab or rickshaw.
